As of October 27, 2026, BCDC and the Cities of Albany, Berkeley and Emeryville have formally initiated their shoreline adaptation plans. More to come in the months ahead as a community education and engagement plan is formalized, outreach events like walking tours and workshops are scheduled, and the real work begins!
